GIG ARCHIVE:
Tarner World Festival, Richmond Parade, Brighton UK
Sat, 15 Sep 2007, at 15:20Although plagued with technical problems (the PA kept cutting out, which eventually meant it was abandoned altogether) this was a great day and the weather was incredible - bright, hot & sunny without a cloud in sight. Our set was pushed right to the end of the day and without the PA we were unable to have our front man Elemental - sorry you had a wasted journey Paul - so it was very much a stripped down version of the usual lineup that eventually took to the stage (JJ was laid up with flu and Jonny was off at a festival so no keyboards either.)
The 3-piece dusted off some of their old faithful grooves, which seemed to hit the spot and even got one of the local restaraunters dancing around in the street! As an added bonus we were approached after playing by a member of Beat Circus (www.beatcircus.co.uk) and we are likely to be appearing in some form or another at one or more of their coming events.
For this gig Brighton Jams was renamed 'Brighton Tyres' :-)
